04/16/2021 PCN for the MX87DQ and BC87Q to replace the Realtek ALC892 audio codec with the ALC888S audio codec due to the ALC892’s announced EOL and the failure of the supplier to fulfill the subsequent last-time-buy (LTB) orders placed well ahead of the last-time-order date stated in the supplier end-of-life notification.

BCM is aware of the inconvenience this may cause our customers. Please understand BCM has worked tirelessly to have our LTB orders honored but without success due to the current worldwide supply chain and IC manufacturing constraints.
04/17/2020 PCN for the RX87Q and BC87Q updating the bill of materials to remove the TPM 1.2 (Trusted Platform Module) due to the discontinuance of the part and no compatible replacement component. This change is scheduled to coincide with the 2/26/2021 discontinuance date of both affected products.
