The RX67Q uATX motherboard adopts the Intel® Q67 desktop platform supporting the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors. This powerful combination provides efficient performance and is able to handle high-definition content or multi-tasking applications on multiple displays.  The onboard video output can support two independent displays from the combinations of DVI, VGA and HDMI.  Additional PCIe x16 graphic cards provides additional four video outputs.  The RX67Q's built-in multi-monitor functions can be enabled through the BIOS setting; therefore, the board is able to support a total of six independent displays. 

The earlier generations of Intel® computing platform can use either the onboard graphics or the add-on graphics at one time. Choosing to use the add-on graphic cards will make the onboard graphics disabled automatically. The multi-monitor feature was developed starting from the Intel® Q6/Q5 series motherboards, which will give great benefits for digital signage, medical imaging, gaming, and video surveillance applications.

BCM Advanced Research (BCM), a leading design manufacturer of industrial motherboards and systems, announced that its RX67Q industrial motherboard has been certified by Systium® as compatible with its Model 526 chassis providing a solid building-block foundation for OEMs and system integrators looking to shave development costs and time-to-market with the newest generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 technology.

BCM’s RX67Q uATX motherboard supports 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors and DDR3 dual channel system memory delivering powerful system and graphic performance. The board also provides rich expansion slots and I/O interfaces including two PCI, one PCIe x16 and one PCI x4, DVI-D, HDMI, VGA, two SATAIII (6.0 G/bs), three SATAII (3.0 G/bs), fourteen USB ports, four COM ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and one eSATA connector. Irvine, California, July 26, 2011 – BCM Advanced Research, an Associate member of the Intel® Embedded Alliance and a leading industrial motherboards & systems supplier, today announced it expects to make available production units of its RX67Q industrial Micro ATX motherboard by the end of August 2011. The RX67Q is designed for mainstream performance driven systems such as gaming, medical imaging or diagnostics, interactive Kiosks, high end digital signage, and complex surveillance applications. BCM expects allocation for the RX67Q to be tight initially but will free up by late September or early October as backorders are fulfilled and distributors begin to sock up.
