| BCM Advanced Research, a leading supplier of long life industrial motherboards and Intel® Embedded Alliance (ECA) partner, is announcing “last call” for IN915GVE customers to get their last time buy orders in by the July 1st deadline per the end of life (EOL) notice given earlier this year.
The purpose of this end of life notice is to let our customers know that BCM will no longer be able to produce and stock this product as a standard inventory item. For future inquiries after July 1st, 2010, a minimum order quantity of at least 500 will be required per purchase order subject to EOL component availability. Also a 10-12 week lead time and strict non-cancellable, non-refundable agreement and down payment may apply.
The IN915GVE is an industrial Micro ATX motherboard features Intel® LGA775 socket with Intel® 915GV Express Chipset. The board supports the Intel® Pentium® 4 Prescott processor – the Pentium® 4 extreme edition with Hyper-Threading Technology enabling better graphics performance for intensive content-rich applications as well as improving business efficiency by increasing the number of transactions with faster response times.
The IN915GVE also supports other Intel®’s earlier generation of processors including Pentium® 4 (65nm) and Celeron® D. The Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900, Intel®’s first desktop platform to support Dual Independent Display technology, is integrated in the Intel® 915GV Express Chipset delivering high quality 2D/3D images and videos for most embedded multimedia applications.
The IN915GVE Micro ATX motherboard is also one of the Systium qualified motherboards. Systium Technologies, founded in 1997, is a BCM partner that provides cost effective, CSA NRTL/C, UL, FCC and CE regulatory approved Motherboard-Ready chassis for a fully certified barebones solution. The IN915GVE can be integrated with Systium’s 526 and 545 models for faster time-to-market industrial computers.
The IN915GVE Micro ATX motherboard is one of the first generation of the LGA775 desktop platforms. This board was first developed and released in the mid 2000’s and was transformed into its RoHS (lead-free) version in 2006. This board is one of BCM’s cost-saving products and is used popularly in medical and amusement applications.
