BCM RX77Q uATX Motherboard supports 2nd/3rd Gen. Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors featuring Three Independent Displays
In Q2, 2012, BCM Advanced Research, an Associate member of Intel® Intelligent Systems, announced its Ivy Bridge based industrial uATX motherboard, the RX77Q. We are pleased to announce the RX77Q is now shipping for customer evaluations so please contact your local BCM representative for availability.
Supports Three Independent Displays
The RX77Q uATX is equipped with the Intel® Q77 desktop chipset and its H2 LGA 1155 socket supports both the 2nd/3rd generation 22/32nm Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors offering remarkable processing performance and enhanced media and graphics capabilities. Aside from the enhanced performance, the biggest feature the RX77Q brings to the table is support for three simultaneous independent displays via the onboard video output combinations of DisplayPort, two DVI, VGA and 18/24-bit LVDS. This robust combination of display output options makes the RX77Q uATX motherboard ideal for multi-monitors required applications such as digital signage, Point of Sale, Self-Serve Kiosk, video walls, and many more applications such as a medical imaging systems requiring display outputs for the device operator, the patient/doctor, plus a device display console for example.
Rich Industry Standard I/O and Expansion Interfaces
In addition to the independent display feature, the RX77Q uATX motherboard is capable of meeting most major industrial computer requirements with its rich industry standard I/O interfaces and expandability including five COM ports, four USB 3.0, eight USB 2.0, two SATA III (6.0 Gb/s), four SATA II (3.0 Gb/s), LPT, Gen 3 PCIe x16, PCIe x4, PCIe x1, Mini PCIe and PCI.
Advanced Technologies for Remote Management and security
The RX77Q also supports Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 for enhanced hardware-based security protecting critical data from being hacked or stolen. Another hardware-based technology provided by the RX77Q uATX motherboard is the built-in Intel® Active Management 8.0 which enables IT technicians or system administrators to remotely and proactively monitor, maintain, and protect their company’s critical networking computing assets.
